U. of Washington Law Dean Will Step Down; Judge Rejects Cal State Faculty Union's Complaint About Hiring of Ex-Chancellor; Ousted Congressman Will Teach at Vanderbilt
STEPPING DOWN: W.H. (Joe) Knight was brought in as dean of the University of Washington School of Law to shake things up. Almost six years later, Mr. Knight has decided he's the one who needs a change, announcing last week that he will leave his post this summer.
"I am very happy about what we have accomplished," says Mr. Knight, who will step down June 15. "And it's time for a change for me and for the law school."
His decision to resign came on the heels of an ethics complaint
