U. of Texas Develops High-School Distance-Ed Courses for Mexican Immigrants
The University of Texas at Austin is developing online courses for Mexican immigrants attending high school in the United States to introduce them to the American education system while taking courses in their native tongue.
The online courses, covering high-school mathematics and science, will be taught in Spanish by Mexican teachers, and the courses will meet Texas graduation requirements.
