U. of Southern California Wins Federal Grant for Terrorism-Research Center
The Department of Homeland Security has picked the University of Southern California to create the first of several planned national centers for research on terrorism, in a deal worth $12-million over the next three years.
Researchers at the university's new Homeland Security Center for Risk and Economic Analysis of Terrorism Events will examine the potential targets and means of terrorism as well as the protection of the country's key infrastructure systems, including electricity,
