U. of Southern California Will Add 100 to Its Faculty

At a time when many institutions face budget and faculty-hiring cutbacks, the University of Southern California's main undergraduate college will spend $100-million to hire 100 "world class" senior faculty members over three years, increasing the size of its faculty by 25 percent.
