U. of San Diego Rescinds Offer to Feminist Catholic Theologian
The University of San Diego's turnabout on the appointment of a prominent feminist theologian has heated up a debate among Roman Catholic colleges over how to balance the interests of academic freedom and adherence to church teaching.
