U. of Phoenix's Parent Company Hires Education Dept. Official as Lobbyist

As the University of Phoenix continues to grow around the country, it is seeking to strengthen its position in the nation's capital.

The Apollo Group, the parent company of Phoenix, announced last week that it had hired a key Education Department official to represent the company and the university in Washington.
