U. of Phoenix's Parent Company Hires Veteran Republican Operative
The Apollo Group, parent company of the University of Phoenix, is adding a former chairman of the Republican National Committee to its list of heavy-hitting federal lobbyists.
The company has hired Rich Bond, a veteran Republican Party operative who has had close ties to President Bush's family since 1979.
