'Dissent' Consents to Be Published by U. of Pennsylvania

After roughly 55 years of independent publishing, Dissent, a left-leaning political magazine, will have its operations taken over by the University of Pennsylvania Press. Dissent Co-editor Michael Walzer announced the change last week.

The shift will affect only the business side of the magazine, according to a letter addressed to the Dissent editorial board from Mr. Walzer and co-editor Mitchell Cohen.
