U. of Ottawa Hires 'Nontraditional' President; New Undergraduate College at Rutgers U. Appoints First Dean; Simmons Professor Will Lead Health-Administration Group
BED HEAD: The University of Ottawa has broken with tradition by naming a president from outside academe. Allan Rock, a lawyer who is a former cabinet minister and ambassador to the United Nations, takes over from Gilles Patry on July 15.
