U. of North Florida Students Hit the Rails for Anthropology Course
Too often educators talk about ways students learn best, but too rarely do they leave the classroom to experiment with new ideas.
That was why Jace Hargis, an assistant professor of education at the University of North Florida, and Gordon Rakita, an assistant professor of anthropology there, conceived of a class taught aboard Amtrak trains on a trip across the country.
