U. of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Receives $4-Million for Digital Library
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's MetaLab, one of the busiest digital libraries on the Internet, last month received a $4-million gift and a new name, ibiblio.org. Its benefactor says the gift will help the site develop its unique character as "the public library of the Internet."
