U. of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Drops Early-Decision Admissions
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill announced last week that it would abandon its early-decision admissions policy this fall. It's the first major university in the United States to drop the common but controversial practice since debate about it intensified last fall.
