U. of New Mexico Wins a Patent Ruling
A federal appeals court has ruled for the University of New Mexico in a patent dispute that pitted the institution against two scientists who said it had taken their rights to a promising cancer treatment. The appeals court affirmed a lower court's dismissal of the scientists' claims against the university and ordered them to pay almost $64,000 to partly defray its legal costs.
