U. of Montana Mishap Prompts New Training
The University of Montana will require more training for people who operate its Web servers, after an incident in which confidential medical records were accidentally made available to the public online.
A report released in February unveiled plans to require anyone who has access to campus Web servers to reapply for that access regularly and to be trained continually in how to use the servers. The university is also looking to buy software to monitor its Web sites for confidential
