U. of Minnesota Settles Lawsuit Over Art Collection
The University of Minnesota-Twin Cities has chosen not to follow the old adage: It did look a gift horse in the mouth.
The institution has agreed to a settlement of its lawsuit in which the Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation, in Los Angeles, must take back most of a $1.2-million art collection that was lent to the campus art museum in 1989.
