U. of Michigan Is Further Penalized by NCAA
The University of Michigan's trials will soon be over.
For affirmative action, that is. Sports are going to take a little bit longer.
The National Collegiate Athletic Association banned Michigan's men's basketball team from postseason competition next year and stripped it of a scholarship a year for four years after determining that players had accepted money from a fan.
Michigan officials objected to the ban on postseason play. The team already sat out postseason games
