U. of Maryland's Online Arm Spent Millions on Marketing, U.S. Senate Panel Finds
An exhaustive U.S. Senate review of student-recruitment practices at the University of Maryland University College has shed light on the costly and aggressive tactics the institution employed in recent years to generate hundreds of millions of dollars in tuition revenue from students worldwide.
