U. of Maine Law Students Defend Classmates Accused of Illegal File Sharing
Law students don't usually represent other students who are accused of breaking the law. But that's precisely what's happening at the University of Maine.
Hannah Ames and Lisa Chmelecki, third-year students at the university's law school, are defending two University of Maine students who are being sued by the Recording Industry Association of America for allegedly swapping music files online in violation of copyright law.
