U. of La Verne Closes Greek Campus, Laying Off 70 Faculty Members

The University of La Verne abruptly closed its campus in Greece last month, three days before the start of classes for the fall semester. The California institution said the move was made after an auditor's review showed that the branch, in Athens, was deep in debt.
