U. of Iowa Shuffles Classes and Scrambles to Restore Heat

The University of Iowa, which suffered at least $232-million in damages when the Iowa River inundated its campus in June, faces a monumental task in getting its power system back online by November 1 so buildings will be heated this winter, officials said at a news conference this week.
