U. of Houston Sit-In Ends After Promise of $1-Million for Teaching Fellows
A sit-in by dozens of teaching fellows and faculty members in the University of Houston's English department ended on Monday after the university's president, Renu Khator, agreed to allocate $1-million to improve working conditions and salaries.
