U. of Colorado Settles Lawsuit by Professor
The University of Colorado System has agreed to pay $1.54-million to a former psychiatry professor to settle a lawsuit charging that he had been wrongly fired.
Gordon L. Neligh, who served as a faculty member at the university's Health Sciences Center, in Denver, from 1987 to 1998, argued in the lawsuit that his contract had not been renewed after he reported that his assistant, a Muslim woman, had been harassed by other university employees.
