U. of Colorado Names a New Point Man on Athletics

The University of Colorado System has picked a local guy to be the university's liaison with the Boulder campus's athletics department, which has endured a spate of problems.

Well, sort of local. John A. DiBiaggio, who will occupy the role for four months, has a house in Snowmass, Colo., but he also serves as president emeritus of Tufts University, in Boston.

More important, Mr. DiBiaggio has forged a reputation as a critic of college sports. He served on the Knight Foundation
