U. of Colorado Freshmen Face New $70 Fee -- for Alumni Dues

The University of Colorado’s Class of 2013 will be alumni before they set foot in their first class. They will not yet be graduates, but they will have paid their alumni dues.

Starting with this fall's freshman class, the university system’s alumni association will be requiring students to pay a lifetime-membership fee of $70 when they enroll.
