U. of Chicago Press Publishes Handbook on Teaching

The University of Chicago Press has had plenty of success publishing how-to guides on writing, editing, and publishing. Now the press has turned to teaching.

The Chicago Handbook for Teachers: A Practical Guide to the College Classroom is "written for the college teacher who, unlike elementary or high-school teachers, doesn't get any training to be a teacher," says John Tryneski, executive editor of the press.
