U. of Chicago Law School Tries Gilbert and Sullivan
A mock courtroom at the University of Chicago Law School is usually the site of simulated trials. But this month, for the first time, it will be the scene of a Gilbert and Sullivan opera starring a law professor.
David Currie, a professor of constitutional law who holds an endowed chair at Chicago, will direct and play the leading role of the judge in Trial by Jury, a one-act comic opera.
