U. of California and Its Teaching Assistants Reach Cease-Fire in Unionization Battle

The only teaching assistants standing on the picket line last week at the University of California at Los Angeles were waiting to tell fellow graduate students to go back to work: Their strike for union recognition had been called off, at least temporarily.
