U. of California President Will Keep His Job
No heads will roll as a result of the University of California's compensation scandal, at least for now.
The university's Board of Regents, after two days of meetings, held at times behind closed doors, announced this month its continued support for the system's president, Robert C. Dynes. Although Mr. Dynes had recently said he would not resign, state lawmakers' increasingly strident calls for his ouster had fueled speculation that he would be fired.
