U. of California Campus to Post Permanent Archive of Tobacco Documents
A permanent Internet archive of 10 million tobacco-industry documents will be created at the University of California at San Francisco, university officials announced last month.
The officials said a $15-million gift from the American Legacy Foundation would pay for the archive and for a new research center for the study of tobacco's health effects and of the tobacco industry's practices.
