U. of Arizona Scholar of Higher Education Will Lead Professors' Association

The American Association of University Professors announced in late August that it had named a prominent scholar of higher education to lead the office of the nation's largest faculty association. Gary Rhoades, who has spent his entire 22-year career at the University of Arizona studying issues that affect the professoriate, will take over as general secretary in January.
