U. Press of Virginia Releases Book of Dovish Nobel Laureates' Views on World Peace; PMLA's New Editor Reaches Out to International Writers and Readers
GIVE PEACE A BOOK DEAL: If all you wanted to know about the University of Virginia's gathering of Nobel Peace Prize laureates in 1998 is what they said, you could read the transcript on the university's Web site. But then you would never find out that Archbishop Desmond Tutu and the Dalai Lama horsed around during the meeting "like a couple of eight-year-olds." Nor that some students camped out for two frigid nights to see the Tibetan leader up close.
