Two Panels Recommend Improved Oversight of Research on Children
The federal government should improve and clarify its rules for research projects that study drugs and other therapies for children, according to new recommendations from two advisory bodies. Universities and other research institutions currently interpret the rules differently, says one of the reports, from the Institute of Medicine.
