Turnitin.com and Copyright
To the Editor:
As a professor of English at a community college who used Turnitin.com for the first time this past semester, I am baffled by ... some of the system's critics ("Plagiarism-Detection Tool Creates Legal Quandary," May 17). Accusations that Turnitin.com violates privacy or copyright guarantees seem unfounded.
