Turmoil at Hillsdale College

To the Editor:

I have no stake in George C. Roche III's situation at Hillsdale College, and indeed, until recently, I was blissfully unaware of his existence. Now, however, I know him as the man who is rumored to have had an affair with his daughter-in-law ("A Scandal and a Suicide Leave a College Reeling," November 19). I also now know that he is listed as a possible suspect in her death, although no indication is given that there is any direct evidence that
