Truth in Advertising?
The following is taken from a job posting for positions in the U.S. Education Department's "performance-based organization," or P.B.O. Critics question the ad's tone, particularly the implication that employees can "wheel and deal" with federal financial-aid funds. Says a spokeswoman for the P.B.O.: "If this ad sends the message that the P.B.O. is not government as usual, then we've achieved our aim."
