Trustees at Louisiana College Reject Faculty's Choice for President; Southern Cal Lures 2 Neuroscientists; Home Purchase by President's Wife at U. of Georgia Spurs Speculation
MOVING UP, ANYWAY: Most faculty members at Lousiana College do not want Joe Aguillard to be the college's next president. But their 53-to-12 vote against his selection was trumped by the Board of Trustees' vote last week.
Mr. Aguillard, who has been the chair of the college's education division for four years, takes over the position from the interim president, John Traylor. Mr. Traylor was also a candidate for the job and had broad support among faculty members, according to William
