Trustees Pitch In to Double Bard College's Endowment
The trustees of Bard College have teamed up to give the institution a gift of $120-million, which will double its $115-million endowment. All 33 members of the Board of Trustees contributed to the gift, with one member pledging $50-million.
Bard will put about $100-million of the gift into its general endowment, where it will help the institution, in Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y., finance undergraduate scholarships and curricular changes. The remaining $20-million will endow buildings,
