Trouble in Waco

The alleged shooting of a basketball player is the latest of Baylor U.'s woes

Eight young men arrived at Baylor University last year to play basketball.

Three came from high schools; one from a fifth year at a prep school after failing to meet the National Collegiate Athletic Association's academic requirements to qualify for college ball; one from the University of New Mexico; and three from junior colleges.

For the most part, they sat on the bench and watched older
