Trinity College of Vermont Finds Financial Partner and Averts Shutdown
Trinity College will remain open, having found a financial partner to help avert a feared shutdown.
The Board of Trustees of the Vermont college had announced in July that Trinity would have to merge with another institution or close. But the college has gotten a reprieve because a partner has agreed to lease two dormitories. College officials declined to identify the tenant.
