Trendy Scholarship and Book Series
To the Editor:
As the author of two books (one out in 1993, one forthcoming) in Penn State University Press's Literature and Philosophy series, edited by Anthony J. Cascardi, I'd like to point out that, contrary to the main thrust of The Chronicle's article, some series specifically provide a venue for the nontrendy ("Have Book Series Become Too Much of a Good Thing?," April 28).
