Transnational Publishing in Microcosm: the Frankfurt Book Fair
The Frankfurt Book Fair is in many ways the world's largest bookstore. Every fall for 50 years now, publishers from all over the world have descended on the ugly and prosperous town to show their wares and to look for new books. This year, 7,000 publishers exhibited some 400,000 new titles.
