Training in Local Politics, Offered by a Master
Having long been a force in California politics, Willie L. Brown Jr., the former speaker of the State Assembly and mayor of San Francisco, has found a way to influence new generations of local and regional government officials.
His alma mater, San Francisco State University, has announced that it is establishing a leadership center named after Mr. Brown to help train people for top posts in municipal, county, and regional governments.
