Training Future Journalists
To the Editor:
Neil Henry takes too narrow a view of graduate education when he focuses on "instilling appropriate professional values in our students" ("Journalism Education: A Lost Cause?," Opinion, September 25). What is considered "appropriate" may change over time; this depends on what each succeeding generation makes of the field it inherits. The best a teacher can hope to do is to empower his students
