Touro College Tests New Waters With Proposed Sale of Online Unit
Touro College is looking for a buyer for its 6,000-student online division, Touro International University.
The private nonprofit college, based in New York City, has hired an investment bank to handle the sale, and will be seeking bids from prospective buyers in the for-profit and nonprofit sectors.
Parties involved in the sale say the deal could be the first to test the market value of a stand-alone online institution since Congress made it easier this year for institutions
