Top Universities Shun 'Asiaweek' Rankings
Top universities -- and in some cases entire countries -- have refused to take part in the higher-education rankings of Asiaweek magazine this year.
The rankings, the fourth by the Hong Kong-based publication and the only ones of their kind in the region, are being published this week.
Japan's Kyoto University and Tohoku University have again taken the No. 1 and No. 2 slots, respectively, among "multidisciplinary" institutions, although in reverse order
