Top Jobs in College Sports Still Go Largely to White Men, Study Finds
Colleges continue to do a poor job of hiring women and members of minority groups for leadership positions in college sports, and the percentage of black athletes in National Collegiate Athletic Association sports is falling, according to a report released last week by Northeastern University's Center for the Study of Sport in Society. However, athletics programs appear to be doing better than other departments at diversifying hiring.
