Tom Brokaw of NBC News Donates World War II Documents to Florida State U.
Tom Brokaw has donated his trove of 7,000 World War II letters and photographs to Florida State University's Institute on World War II and the Human Experience.
Mr. Brokaw, the NBC news anchor, initially collected the materials for his 1998 best seller, The Greatest Generation. With the book's success came thousands of new donations -- and two sequels.
The institute will make the materials available for research and is planning a new exhibition space.
