Tips for Improving Presidential Job Reviews
Richard L. Morrill, president of the Teagle Foundation, which provides support for liberal education, has written a new book on how governing boards can do a better job reviewing the performance of their colleges' presidents. Drawing from his two decades of experience as a university chief, Mr. Morrill writes in Assessing Presidential Effectiveness (AGB Press) that a good performance review can help improve the work of both presidents and trustees.
