Thomson Will Shut Down Harcourt's Online College
The Thomson Corporation will close the fledgling online college operated by Harcourt by September 28, the company disclosed last month.
The announcement, which came two weeks after Thomson completed its purchase of Harcourt's higher-education publishing divisions, was contained in a letter to the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education, which licenses the institution.
