This Desk Is Too Small, This Desk Is Too Big: Classrooms That Make Students Feel Like Goldilocks

Your article on classrooms raised many important concerns ("Take My Chair (Please)," March 7). But it only scratched the surface, and some of the items you showed could be improved further. For example, you showed a lighting panel with eight identical-looking slide dimmers. How can a professor tell which dimmer controls which light? A better solution is a panel that organizes all the lights into a few groups that can be identified by small signs. ...
